| I am for womens rights and they should be treated with respect and dignity. I talked to a very large group of women in my district and privately they seem to feel that nobody has the right to tell them what they should do. It's their decision. I also feel that men should take as much responsibility as the women. It is up to us as men to protect women form getting pregnant. There are medical procedures men can have and they are reversible when a couple is ready to have children. | |||

| There is one exception. What is becoming a very large issue is what is called inversion. This is where corporations move their HQ or buy another company in a foreign country and pay their tax lower tax rate. We, the average citizen will have to make up the difference. As an example, Burger King is leaving. Walgreens backed out and is paying US corporate taxes because of customer complaints and loss of business. I am for less taxes and less regulations. However, the 2008 great recession. Without oversight of wall street, greed took over and many lost their life savings. | |||

| Citizen United was a very bad decision by allowing unlimited amount of money to be used in Campaigns. It hard to imagine that it is really possible to buy an election and eliminate democracy and voters right to vote based on a candidate's merits. There is so much misinformation out there that it becomes difficult for voters to know what is the truth. I am for new legislation that will nullify the latest supreme court's decision. | |||

| Sometimes, I do wonder what is the best punishment for the type of horrific crimes that are committed on a daily basis. Death to me is the easy way out. Punishment in solitary confinement that is so minimal with no parole. Having them live with that crime on a daily basis and to think about it on a day to day, hour by hour, minute by minute over their life time is to me a more fitting punishment than death. Ultimately, they will face their final judgment day. | |||

| As long it improves the quality of education. It might be a good idea to get back to the basics such as Math and English. In the United States, Nevada with more than 35,000 employees is in the lower half percentile as compared to the rest of the U.S.. The basics with concentration in class size and direct teacher's contact and less use of technology in the early stages. Build on their mental abilities without any technical aids. Pencil and paper. I used to be a teacher and experienced class room size of more than 40 students because of budgets. | |||

| I had friends who volunteered to go to Florida during the BP oil spill. It was truly a disaster than anyone could imagine. BP still has not reimbursed many of those businesses who were profoundly affected by the spill. Mostly fishing and restaurants. If you don't have regulations, greed and recklessness will take over. All you have to look at is what happen in 2008 in the great recession. Many Americans lost their life savings because of greed taking over. | |||

| It is hard to believe there are those who deny climate change but the change is world wide. This past summer was the hottest worldwide that has ever been recorded. We are the major source of climate change but there are other forces outside of Earth that is also changing...namely the sun. It is getting hotter with more activity such as CME's and our orbit is closer to the sun. We have to work with nature and ourselves. Because of this combination, climate change is occurring at much faster pace. We must act sooner rather then later. | |||

| I have personally experienced a gun put to my head and for about 10 minutes. That experience changes your view point. I am for common sense background checks in all purchases of guns. People kill people so it is up to us to regulate gun ownership. I am not against the 2nd amendment but finding out if there is any danger to others for those who buy guns just makes common sense. The latest number in 2014, there are about 36 deaths due to gun violence per day in the U.S or rounded off 13,000 per year. | |||

| However there are changes that need to be made especially coverage going from one state to another such as the case in Laughlin NV. As a result of budget cuts, they have no hospitals nor emergency car facilities. They have to go to Arizona. We have to work with insurance companies that are on the exchange to make exceptions for those who have medical conditions that either chronic or severe. Presently, they are working on getting more insurance companies to be on the Nevada exchange. There are policies that will cover you within 50 to 100 miles of your state. | |||

| I think to put another way, if they don't follow the rules then they should be returned to their country of origin. I am for immigration reform and there is a bill that has passed the Senate by a bi-partisan vote. Even though it is not perfect, it is a beginning and can be corrected along the way. There are those who want to pass immigration by little pieces which can take an unlimited amount of time to pass if ever. We are country of immigrants including mine from Austria. It is not simple and there are many circumstances involved. | |||

| Yes, it is unfortunately a very dangerous world out there especially those whose beliefs are of the extremes. They do not have the same values of life as we do and who have hijacked certain religions to permit them to commit some of the most violent, most extreme extermination of so many innocent lives. We must be in this instance, be proactive in prevention rather than foolish inaction. | |||

| Our present system is working and if we get into personal retirement accounts we will end up as many who were affected in their 401 k's in 2008. It tanked, many lost their entire sayings. The solution to social security is not cuts but rather raising the cap. In other words, somebody who makes over 10,000,000 a year and pays on the cap of only 114,000 a year. You tell me, is that fair. Just raise the cap to 200-300 thousand a year. You will have enough money for our grandchildren. Social Security is not entitlement, it is earned. | |||

| In Nevada. This takes money...but where? Jobs are big share of our economy. They consist of: Career training programs for new industries, diversifying our economy with new industries, Co-oping businesses to form groups in order to reduce the cost of doing business. If the Rockefeller's see the writing on the wall as to coal and oil, and alternative energy is the next big boom. We should be involved as much as possible as to investing, training for these jobs, offering new type of jobs. And raising the standard of the middle class by new job opportunities. | |||
| I have been looking at why our health care cost is so high compared to other countries. A big portion of our high cost comes from obesity, diabetes, smoking and other factors. I have been looking at how the tax structure for junk foods and other unhealthy processed foods and their current taxes. We need to make stable foods less costly and we may need to raise taxes for those types of food that are not good for us to consume especially in the case of Laughlin because they have no hospital and rely on Arizona for their health care. | |||

Infrastructure, our roads, bridges, on ramps, off ramps etc. Also, just recently, the Rockefeller family are switching to new forms of energy or alternatives because they see that oil is getting to expensive to produce for their return or known as ROI. New training classes should be federally funded for new job opportunities and diversifying our local economy. |
